Storing saffron in a busy kitchen
- Order one to two months’ supply at a time, so the saffron stays fresh.
- Keep it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place, away from the stove and steam.
- Divide a large pack into a few small airtight jars.
- Make one batch of saffron water each day, so every plate has the same colour.
